Graduated from the Pontíficia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), Thalita Mello has a postgraduate degree in Economic Criminal Law from the Instituto Brasileiro de Ciências Criminais (IBCCrim) in partnership with the Instituto de Direito Penal Económico e Europeu (IDPEE) at the University of Coimbra. She is a member of the Instituto Brasileiro de Ciências Criminais (IBCCrim) and a member of Special Committee on Criminal Law of the OAB/SP.
